TAMPA, Fla. -- Atlanta isn't playing in Philadelphia, but it still had something pretty special up its sleeve.

Pulling a play out of the Eagles' playbook, the Falcons ran the "Philly Special" that became famous during last year's Super Bowl for a touchdown on their first drive of the second half.

Matt Ryan handed the ball off to Calvin Ridley in the backfield, who then lateraled the ball to Mohamed Sanu on a reverse. Sanu lofted a pass towards Ryan, who was running wide open towards the end zone for a touchdown.

The catch was Ryan's first of his career, and it cut the Falcons' deficit to 17-14 midway through the third quarter. Sanu, who has been excellent throwing the ball in the NFL, is now 7-of-8 in his career for 233 yards with four touchdowns.

The Falcons face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida for the last game of the 2018 season. Get your inside look here.
