Today could be a banner day in the history of the Falcons as several players are approaching franchise records that could be broken against the Bucs.

Matt Ryan, Roddy White, Michael Turner and Julio Jones could etch their names in the Falcons' record books with the following achievements today:

Matt Ryan

  • Needs 73 passing yards to set a new franchise record (Jeff George – 4,143 - 1995)
  • Needs 17 completions to break his franchise record (Ryan – 357 - 2010)
  • Needs 15 attempts to set a break his franchise record (Ryan – 571 – 2010)
  • Needs to finish the game with a season QB Rating above 87.4 to set a new franchise best (Chris Chandler – 1997-01)

Roddy White

  • Needs 45 yards to become the franchise's all-time leading receiver (Terance Mathis – 7349 – 1994-01)
  • Needs four catches to become the first player in Falcons history to post two 100-catch seasons
  • Needs one first down to set a franchise record for most first down receptions in a season (White – 73 - 2010)

Michael Turner

  • Needs one touchdown to become the franchise's all-time leader in rushing TDs (Tied with Gerald Riggs – 48)

Julio Jones

  • Needs one touchdown to set a Falcons rookie record
  • Needs nine catches to set a Falcons rookie record
