Jones Falls Just Shy of ESPY for Best NFL Player

After a career year in 2015, Julio Jones rightfully earned his first ESPY nomination for Best NFL Player. Jones finished the year recording 136 receptions for 1,871 yards and eight touchdowns.

Jones was up against Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers, Tom Brady of the New England Patriots, J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans and Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Although Newton ultimately took home the ESPY, Jones' emergence into the elite category is certainly commendable.
