Welcome to the Atlanta Falcons 2025 Fantasy Football Draft Guide!
Each week throughout the season, I will be providing insights into key matchups for the top Falcons players in fantasy football as well as any noteworthy stats or projections to help you set your lineup. Before your glorious march towards the league championship can begin, however, you've got to build an unstoppable squad.
This guide includes summaries, expert opinions, consensus rankings and strength of schedules for each Falcons player on the fantasy radar to help you do just that.

The Falcons could feature one of the most dynamic offenses in the league in 2025, and running back Bijan Robinson is a worthy candidate for the top overall pick. Loading up on players from a specific offense expected to among the league's best is a popular strategy in fantasy, and the Falcons would be a smart team for that approach. Drake London finished as the WR13 last season, and the three-games he played with Michael Penix Jr. showed a potentially much higher ceiling. In addition to London, Penix will also have Darnell Mooney and Kyle Pitts to work with, and Tyler Allgeier returns for the final year of his rookie deal firmly established in and respected for his role. With a cohesive and capable offensive line in place, there's a lot of reasons this unit can put up points.
For fantasy purposes, you could do a lot worse than hitching your wagon to Atlanta's offense. Let's take a closer look at why that is.

THE CENTERPIECE – Bijan Robinson
Robinson will very likely end up as the No. 1 pick in a lot of fantasy drafts this summer, and for good reason. He finished fourth in yards per scrimmage last season with 1,887 yards and had 15 touchdowns. From Week 6 on, Robinson led all running backs in fantasy points per game in PPR leagues, and he provided consistent returns on a weekly basis as the Falcons' top weapon. Of all the options at the top of the draft, Robinson has perhaps the most reasons to believe a repeat or even better performance is in the cards. The 23-year-old is in an offense that returns all but two pieces and boasts one of the best offensive lines in the NFL. He is also with the same offensive coordinator in Zac Robinson, who is seeking ways to create more explosive plays for his star running back. There's a lot to like about Robinson as the top fantasy pick.

Expert Opinions
"Robinson finished top 5 among RBs in snaps, carries, routes, targets, touches, yards and fantasy points. Entering his age-23 campaign and working in an Atlanta offense that was the third-run-heaviest in the league last season, Robinson is primed for another elite season and should be under consideration with the first overall pick of your draft." – Mike Clay (ESPN)
"Robinson has the chance for a big season in 2025, and he should be considered a top-five overall pick in the majority of leagues. You can make a strong case for him to be No. 1 overall based on how 2024 finished when he averaged 22.5 PPR points per game in his final eight outings. That was better than what Saquon Barkley (22.2) and Jahmyr Gibbs (21.4) did last season, and a big reason for Robinson's strong ending was his workload. Robinson, who averaged 20.1 PPR points per game for the season, averaged 17.2 total touches per game in his first six outings last year. But over his final 11 games, Robinson averaged 23.9 total touches per game, and hopefully that's the norm in 2025." – CBS Sports
"Bijan thrived in his second NFL season under new Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson, piling up 1,887 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns. Bijan is sublimely talented and just getting started. I think he deserves to be the first RB off the board in 2025 fantasy drafts." – Pat Fitzmaurice (FantasyPros)
Strength of schedule and matchups (per FantasyPros)
Atlanta's running backs will face the fifth-easiest schedule for the position in 2025. FantasyPros breaks down a player's matchup against specific teams using a five-star system. The more stars, the more favorable the matchup. Here is the breakdown for Robinson in 2025:
- 5-star matchups: 1
- 4-star matchups: 8
- 3-star matchups: 4
- 2-star matchups: 4
- 1-star matchups: 0

A WR1 WITH ELITE UPSIDE – Drake London
In his three games working with Michael Penix Jr. last season, Drake London had the second-most points per game among wide receivers in both PPR and non-PPR leagues. That is a helpful illustration of what the ceiling could be for London with a full season of Penix at quarterback. While Kirk Cousins certainly gave London a lot to work with, Penix could allow his receiver to access more of the route tree than any other he's played alongside. The Falcons also hunt for matchups they can exploit for London. According to Next Gen Stats, London was targeted on 34.9% of his routes run from the slot, which was the highest rate among receivers with at least 150 slot routes. London finished 13th and 14th among receivers in PPR and non-PPR leagues, respectively, last season. He's currently being drafted 19th, according to Fantasy Pros. There's a chance London finishes much better than he did last year, which could mean big value in the second round.

Expert opinions
"Michael Penix is taking over as Atlanta's starting QB this season, and London really clicked with the young QB when he got a late-season audition last year. In the three starts Penix made at the end of the regular season, London had 22 catches for 352 and two touchdowns on 39 targets. The 6-foot-4 London has a huge wingspan and reliable hands. He has become a blue-chip wide receiver and now warrants a top-15 selection in fantasy drafts." – Pat Fitzmaurice (Fantasy Pros)
"In 2024, London had a career year with 100 catches for 1,271 yards and nine touchdowns on 158 targets. And he showed a solid rapport with new starting quarterback Michael Penix Jr. In three starts with Penix, London had 22 catches for 352 yards and two touchdowns, and he scored at least 17.6 PPR points in two of those outings. London should continue to dominate targets, and he has the upside to be a top-five Fantasy receiver in all leagues. We consider him a top-10 receiver coming into the season, and hopefully 2024 was just the start for London toward becoming a consistent Fantasy star." – CBS Sports
"London was literally the no. 1 wide receiver in fantasy football for the three weeks Michael Penix Jr. started for Atlanta last year. It's a small sample, but perhaps one worth taking seriously considering Penix's history of feeding his receivers in college." – The Ringer
Strength of schedule and matchups (per FantasyPros)
Atlanta's wide receivers will face the 10th-hardest schedule for the position in 2025, according to FantasyPros. The fantasy site breaks down a player's matchup against specific teams using a five-star system. The more stars, the more favorable the matchup. Here is the breakdown for London in 2025:

THE BET WORTH MAKING – Darnell Mooney
London isn't the only player who could take another step forward in Year two of Zac Robinson's offense. Mooney finished last season as the No. 34 receiver in PPR leagues, but he was a top-15 receiver four times and could be the biggest beneficiary of Penix's desire to throw deep. In this offense, Mooney has a clear path to targets. He had just under a 20% target share last year, according to FantasyPros, and can attack all three levels of the field. He's currently dealing with a shoulder injury that could drop him further down in fantasy drafts. Whenever he returns to the lineup — which remains unclear at this time — he should pick up right where he left off.

"Mooney was a top 12 fantasy receiver in the first half of last season, a fact that has been erased from the public's consciousness. With new quarterback Michael Penix Jr., Mooney could be a quiet but significant beneficiary of the Falcons offense, which is newly likely to air the ball out." – The Ringer
"Mooney only had one healthy game with Michael Penix Jr. in Week 16 against the Giants, and Mooney finished with five catches for 82 yards on six targets. There's a lot to like about Mooney as a fantasy receiver this season, especially his value, and he could be a weekly starter in three-receiver leagues with top-30 upside." – CBS Sports
"Mooney remains locked into the No. 2 WR role in a Falcons' offense that very well could make a leap with Michael Penix Jr. entering his first season as the full-time starting quarterback. That's enough to put him on the flex radar, but his upside is limited." – Mike Clay (ESPN)

FOR THE ADVENTURE SEEKERS — Kyle Pitts
Fantasy fans are very familiar with Pitts at this point. His upside has continued to tantalize, but he's not often justified the high price tag attached to him in previous fantasy drafts. That price tag might not be there this year, and Pitts could linger on draft boards longer than he ever has. If the draft doesn't fall your way at the tight end position, Pitts is still one of the best dart throws out there. Penix has worked hard to develop a relationship with him over the offseason, and he might be the quarterback best suited to run an offense that utilizes Pitts to his strengths.

"He had 47 catches for 602 yards and a career-high four touchdowns last year. Pitts is still only 24, so there may be hope for him yet. Pitts had to acclimate to new offensive coordinator Zac Robinson's system last year, and Falcons QB Kirk Cousins was a disappointment. Perhaps there's hope for Pitts now that he has greater familiarity with the system and will be playing with talented young QB Michael Penix Jr." – Pat Fitzmaurice (Fantasy Pros)
"Pitts is one of the best tight end prospects of all time. He was the first tight end to hit 1,000 yards in his rookie season in half a century. While he's disappointed the past few seasons, he was also dealing with a knee injury and catching passes from horrific quarterbacks like Desmond Ridder, Marcus Mariota, and an injured Kirk Cousins. Now Pitts, who is just 24, will play with the best QB of his career in Michael Penix Jr., but is the cheapest you'll probably ever see him." – The Ringer
"In 2024, he started out the season playing well with 29 catches for 419 yards and three touchdowns in the first eight weeks of the season, and he scored at least 10 PPR points in five games over that span. But over the final nine games, Pitts had 18 catches for 183 yards and one touchdown and scored double digits in PPR just once. Hopefully, he can develop a solid rapport with Michael Penix Jr. early in the season, and then Pitts can perform like a starting Fantasy tight end. There's reason for optimism given his talent, but this year, Pitts should be a late-round flier instead of an early-round investment." – CBS Sports

FLEX FLOOR WITH LEAGUE-WINNING CEILING — Tyler Allgeier
Although Bijan Robinson is the clear No. 1 in Atlanta's offense, Allgeier has immense respect within the organization and could hold standalone flex value in the final season of his rookie deal. The Falcons have teased two-running back sets for a while now, but this year could lead to a breakthrough as Allgeier has proven himself time and again and enters a second year with this coaching staff. If Robinson were to miss any time, Allgeier would immediately step into the lead role in an offense foundationally built upon the run game. Were that to happen, a player you could likely grab at the end of drafts would immediately vault into your starting lineup.

Expert opinions
"Allgeier will once again be the No. 2 running back for the Falcons behind Bijan Robinson, and Allgeier is worth drafting as a handcuff with a late-round pick in all leagues. If Robinson were to miss any time then Allgeier would be a potential league winner. But even playing behind Robinson, Allgeier can still have flex appeal in deeper leagues." – CBS Sports
"Tyler Allgeier remains an elite handcuff option with some standalone flex appeal. Allgeier was the RB45 in fantasy points per game, as he finished as the RB36 or higher in 41% of his games last year. Among 46 qualifying backs, he ranked 22nd in missed tackle rate and 20th in yards after contact per attempt (per Fantasy Points Data). If Bijan Robinson were to miss any time, Allgeier would immediately vault into RB1/2 territory." – Derek Brown (FantasyPros)
"With Robinson taking on a larger role in 2024, Allgeier hit career-low marks in snap share (28%), carries (137) and targets (13). He cleared 12 touches only once (an 18-point win in Week 6), which was also his only game with more than 12.3 fantasy points. The 25-year-old clearly has no standalone fantasy value and, though he's limited as a pass catcher, he'd certainly be positioned for a hefty chunk of Atlanta's carries in the event of a Robinson injury. Allgeier is a fine late-round insurance flier." – Mike Clay (ESPN)
