On playing against his former team for the first time:**

"I didn't want to make too big of a deal about it. It was special just to see the old guys from the team and some of the fans up there. I think I even saw an "88" jersey up in the stands. It was pretty cool, but it was also fun to go out there and get to play football again. For the team, it was nice seeing the young guys out there getting a chance to make some plays. I'm pretty happy with where we are at and I thought we came out there and performed as well as we can for the first game of the preseason."

On the play of RB Michael Turner and the offense:

"It always helps when you have Michael Turner back there. The defense has to respect that and it opens everything else up for us. We were able to create some holes for him and then if there isn't a hole, you know that he's going to bowling ball right through it. It's good to have him back and healthy. Obviously, Matt's picking up where he left off and playing pretty well. We just have to keep getting better. That's all there is to it. That's what the preseason is for. It's back to the grind and these two-a-days. We have to make them count though and I think that we're going in the right direction."
