The Atlanta Falcons have launched a new virtual seat viewing system that provides fans with unique and realistic 3D seating visuals of the Georgia Dome to improve the online ticket buying and season ticket purchasing experience.

Using this cutting edge technology allows Falcons fans to see their game day view throughout the Dome, and buy season and half season packages and single-game tickets. The system also features an interactive parking map that will guide fans directly from their front door to the parking lot on game day. Prospective buyers simply follow the link http://vsv.atlantafalcons.com/ and select their desired section for a realistic 3D stadium view. From there, section pricing information for ticket packages and a link to purchase tickets are presented. Fans can also directly contact a member of the Falcons ticket office via email or live chat.

Perhaps the most popular feature of this system will be rolled out in the spring of 2012, when the Falcons will launch a comprehensive online relocation tool that will allow renewed season ticket holders to access available seating online based on seniority, and provide them with the ability to personally select new seats.

"Many of our season ticket holders have asked for the capability to manage their seats online, and we are pleased to respond to their needs," Falcons President Rich McKay said. "Through a partnership with Ballena Technologies, we think we've created a virtual seating tool that will be of great value to current and potential Falcons season-ticket holders."

The system, which is called Seats3D, allows fans to view seating options and corresponding stadium views, and to make more informed decisions about their ticket purchases. Seats3D's features include full venue seating options with panoramic views from all seating locations, views from inside luxury suites and/or club lounges in the Georgia Dome; a Find-Your-Seat feature, which allows fans to easily navigate to a specific seat view by entering a section and row number; and Facebook and Twitter compatibility to allow fans to share their seat views on the popular social networking sites.

"I think it's a great tool and look forward to using it in the future. It makes it very easy to see what's available and pick the perfect seats," season ticket holder Douglas Borenstein said. "It should have a significant impact in the future, both for new accounts picking seats and for current season ticket holders looking to upgrade their seats."

Ballena Technologies offers unique sales and marketing tools for sports teams, venue owner/operators, and Internet based ticketing solutions. Ballena's Seats3D product is the market leader in sports venue 3D visualization. Ballena Technologies creates realistic seating visuals to improve the on-line ticketing experience by familiarizing potential customers with a facility, creating excitement, sales and customer satisfaction. Seats3D is currently used on facility websites including NCAA, NBA, NFL, MLB, MLS, NHL and NASCAR.
