Instant Reaction: Falcons 10, Titans 7

The Falcons got back in the win column Sunday in the Music City after a rare 10-day break, as Devonta Freeman, Julio Jones and a resilient defense led Atlanta to a 10-7 victory over the Titans at Nissan Stadium.

Despite a shaky first half that concluded with Tennessee up by four, Matt Ryan and Co. regrouped in the locker room and found its stride in the third stanza. Ryan completed six of nine passes for 80 yards and a TD in the 15 minutes following intermission, and Dan Quinn's defense held the Titans to 35 net yards.

Freeman managed 116 rushing yards on 25 carries, giving him 100-plus rushing yards for the third straight game; Jones, who was absent from the injury report for the first time since Week 1, hauled in nine catches for 92 yards and a touchdown. Jones' TD grab, which capped off a nine-play, 88-yard drive, gave the Falcons a three-point lead—one they would not relinquish.

The Titans had a chance to tie or take the lead in the final two minutes of regulation, but rookie safety Robenson Therezie made his first career interception to seal the win for Atlanta.
