FALCONS PLAYERS GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY FOR THANKSGIVING

Flowery Branch, GA – In celebration of Thanksgiving, cornerback Christopher Owens and safety Shann Schillnger will be treating 100 men from the Shepherd's Inn, the men's facility of the Atlanta Mission to a Thanksgiving meal. The players will be serving food, signing autographs and taking photographs throughout the evening.

Established in 1938, Atlanta Mission provides overnight shelter, job attainment programming, long-term residential discipleship programming and transitional housing for more than 950 homeless men, women and children daily. In celebration of Thanksgiving, kicker Matt Bryant, punter Matt Bosher and long snapper Joe Zelenka will be treating 250 women and children from My Sister's House, the women's and children's facility of the Atlanta Mission to a Thanksgiving meal. The players will be serving food, signing autographs and taking photographs throughout the evening.

The Atlanta Falcons Rookie Club sponsored by UnitedHealthcare of Georgia will be preparing and serving Thanksgiving lunch at Crossroads Community Ministries. Each year, Crossroads Community Ministries serves over 74,000 meals to over 4,300 homeless men, women and children. The Falcons have been visiting this facility for several years.

When: Tuesday, November 22 (9:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. preparations, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. serving)
