Atlanta's 2017 preseason schedule is set featuring three AFC matchups with the Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars, with another game against the Arizona Cardinals.

The only contest with a scheduled date thus far is Atlanta's Week 4 game versus the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday, Aug. 31. The dates for the remaining three games will be announced at a later date.

Here's a closer look at the preseason schedule:

Week 1: Atlanta Falcons at Miami Dolphins (Hard Rock Stadium)

Week 2: Atlanta Falcons at Pittsburgh Steelers (Heinz Field)

Week 3: Atlanta Falcons vs. Arizona Cardinals (Mercedes-Benz Stadium)

Week 4: Atlanta Falcons vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (Mercedes-Benz Stadium), Thursday, Aug. 31

The Falcons will open the preseason with back-to-back road games, heading to Miami and Pittsburgh in Week 1 and Week 2. Preseason won't be the only time the Falcons see the Dolphins, as Miami will travel to Atlanta for a regular season game in the upcoming season.

Atlanta's matchup with Pittsburgh will be the first time Dan Quinn and Mike Tomlin will square off against one another as head coaches. Quinn and Tomlin coached together at Virginia Military Institute in 1995.

After the two-game road swing, the Falcons will close out the preseason with two home games against Arizona and Jacksonville at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Falcons saw the Cardinals in the 2016 season, defeating Arizona 38-19. Atlanta and Jacksonville have become familiar foes of late as the Falcons saw the Jaguars twice in 2016, once in preseason and in the regular season, winning both contests.
