On playing in the first preseason game of the year:
"It's always nice to play against a different color and against somebody that isn't a guy that you know. I thought the defense, overall, did pretty good. We obviously made some mistakes that we're going to have to get in and look at. Overall, I thought that it was good."

On the play of the younger players:**
"I tried to watch a few. S [Shann] Schillinger got an interception. CB Chevis [Jackson] did a good job and I think DE [Lawrence Sidbury] Sid did a pretty good job too. We'll look on film and we'll be able to see who did a good job tomorrow. But, I think that overall, they did pretty good."
