Brown3

EXPERT: Matt Tabeek - Falcons digital managing editor

PICK: Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn

LAST MOCK PUBLISHED: April 23

TABEEK'S ANALYSIS: "The Falcons have been rumored to move up in hopes of landing a difference-maker on defense. They do just that and trade up from 16 to land Brown, an absolute monster inside. Atlanta will likely have to give up its second-round pick and either a late-round pick or a future pick." To see all of Tabeek's latest mock draft, click here.

CH6

EXPERT: Mel Kiper - ESPN football analyst

PICK: K'Lavon Chaisson, Edge, LSU

LAST MOCK PUBLISHED: April 23

KIPER'S ANALYSIS: "Chaisson is the second-best edge rusher in this class, though he's still raw. If Atlanta wants to get back to the playoffs -- especially in a tougher NFC South -- it has to rebuild its pass rush, and adding Chaisson and free-agent signing Dante Fowler Jr. would be a great start." Kinlaw4

EXPERT: Todd McShay - ESPN senior writer

PICK: Javon Kinlaw, DT, South Carolina

LAST MOCK PUBLISHED: March 30

McSHAY'S ANALYSIS: "The Falcons will be looking all over on defense; they need replenishments at cornerback, linebacker and edge rushing. But this is pure value. Kinlaw is a physical freak who can rush inside or outside and create havoc beside Grady Jarrett. Taking a player this talented at this spot in the draft is just good business." EXPERT: Chad Reuter - NFL.com draft analyst

PICK: Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn

LAST MOCK PUBLISHED: April 17

REUTER'S ANALYSIS: "The Falcons move up to give Grady Jarrett a partner because interior pressure throws off quarterbacks. Brown may not be Aaron Donald in terms of quickness, but his pure strength and hustle makes life quite uncomfortable for offensive linemen and everyone in the backfield." EXPERT: Lance Zierlein - NFL Media draft analyst

PICK: C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida

LAST MOCK PUBLISHED: March 20

ZIERLEIN'S ANALYSIS: "Henderson is a smooth outside cornerback with a tremendous combination of speed and fluidity to help bolster the Falcons' coverage on Day 1." To see all of Zierlein's latest mock draft, click here.

EXPERT: Bucky Brooks - NFL.com analyst

PICK: A.J. Terrell, CB, Clemson

Brown2

EXPERT: Daniel Jeremiah - NFL Media analyst

PICK: Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn

LAST MOCK PUBLISHED: April 22

JEREMIAH'S ANALYSIS: "The Falcons have been making a lot of calls about trading up. Most assume it's for CJ Henderson, but I could see them making a move for a difference-maker on the D-line." To see all of Jeremiah's latest mock draft, click here.

CJ4

EXPERT: Maurice Jones-Drew - NFL.com analyst

PICK: C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida

LAST MOCK PUBLISHED: March 31

JONES-DREW'S ANALYSIS: "The Falcons fill an immediate need at the cornerback position with an athletic freak." To see all of Jones-Drew's latest mock draft, click here.

CH5

EXPERT: Ryan Wilson - CBS Sports writer

PICK: K'Lavon Chaisson, Edge, LSU

LAST MOCK PUBLISHED: April 22

WILSON'S ANALYSIS: "The Falcons are another team that could be in the trade-up business, presumably for C.J. Henderson, or perhaps Javon Kinlaw. With both off the board, they turn to bolstering the pass rush. Chaisson is a project here, only because he didn't play with the consistency you'd like to see out of an edge rusher taken midway through Round 1. That said, there's no denying he is explosive off the edge. He's much stronger than his 250-pound frame suggests, and he's only going to get better." EXPERT: Chris Trapasso - CBS Sports writer

EXPERT: R.J. White - CBS Sports writer

PICK: C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida

LAST MOCK PUBLISHED: April 22

WHITE'S ANALYSIS: "The Falcons pay the Jack Conklin price to move to No. 8, surrendering No. 16, 78 and a 2021 second-round pick to get their guy. Henderson gives the team a legit No. 1 cornerback in a secondary that has been a weakness in recent years. I don't see any way he gets past the Jaguars, Jets and Raiders, so the Falcons have to get aggressive if they want him." To see all of White's latest mock draft, click here.

CJ7

EXPERT: Josh Edwards - CBS Sports writer

PICK: C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida

LAST MOCK PUBLISHED: April 22

EDWARDS' ANALYSIS: "Atlanta gives up No. 16 and No. 119 in exchange for No. 14. Tampa Bay was willing to move back with all four offensive tackles off the board. The Falcons end Henderson's fall." To see all of Edwards' latest mock draft, click here.

EXPERT: Will Brinson - CBS Sports senior writer

PICK: C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida

LAST MOCK PUBLISHED: April 21

BRINSON'S ANALYSIS: "Another trade! I think with an increased involvement from David Tepper plus Matt Rhule looking to stockpile a questionable roster, Carolina will be aggressive about trying to move back. We know Thomas Dimitroff wants to move up and the Falcons need one of his signature draft splashes to work out. They grab a corner we know they adore." EXPERT: Pete Prisco - CBS Sports senior writer

PICK: Yetur Gross-Matos, DE, Penn St.

LAST MOCK PUBLISHED: April 22

PRISCO'S ANALYSIS: "This kid is a big, strong edge player who will be an even better player in the NFL. The Falcons need more edge help and he would be a nice addition." To see all of Prisco's latest mock draft, click here.

CJ8

EXPERT: Trevor Sikkema - The Draft Network

PICK: C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida

LAST MOCK PUBLISHED: March 22

SIKKEMA'S ANALYSIS: "General manager Thomas Dimitroff and head coach Dan Quinn don't have good poker faces; you can tell when they want to get aggressive during an offseason. There were hints that might be the case in January and February, but now those hints are the worst kept secret in the league.

"After moving on from Desmond Trufant, they have a big hole at cornerback. If they're into the top 10, which I believe they will, it will be for either Okudah, C.J. Henderson or Javon Kinlaw. Atlanta gets to No. 8 and takes Henderson to address the bigger need." To see all of Sikkema's latest mock draft, click here.

CJ3

EXPERT: Kyle Crabbs - The Draft Network

PICK: C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida

LAST MOCK PUBLISHED: April 22

CRABBS' ANALYSIS: "The Falcons have generated a lot of heat over the course of the last week for their potential to trade into the early portions of the draft. Securing a move up for a top cover corner will help Atlanta compete with the pass-happy NFC South." To see all of Crabbs' latest mock draft, click here.
