Head coach Mike Smith on endeding QB Drew Brees' touchdown streak:"I didn't realize that and we walked off the field and somebody told me. It's an unbelievable streak. Drew Brees is an outstanding quarterback. The way that our defense played tonight, it speaks volumes of how they played. This is a guy that has gone out there and thrown touchdowns game after game after game. Just says a whole bunch about the way our football team played tonight."

Thomas DeCoud on intercepting Brees five times:"We knew it would be up to Drew to beat us because he's so good at finding his receivers. And we knew if we could get our hands on the ball we could put ourselves in great position to win the game and obviously we did that. We had five turnovers."

Tony Gonzalez on feeling relieved after the win:"They've had our number. There's no doubt about it. They've had our number and it's good. It feels really, really good to come out and get that victory. I'd be lying to you if I didn't say thoughts of that way, and getting a loss again even though we had jumped out to that lead; it crept up in our minds. Well, at least my mind on the sideline. I still had faith. And give all the credit to the defense."

Matt Ryan on the opening scoring drive:"The first drive of the game, I thought our offensive line did a great job. They set the tempo for what we needed to do. Coach Smith and Dirk (Koetter) talked about it all week. We wanted to come out and run the football and use some quick passes to work to our advantage. It was just great execution, great coaching and a great way to start."

Dunta Robinson on being fired up for the game:"That's what we do whether it's Sunday, Monday, Thursday, it doesn't mattter. We bring energy. You should come to some of our practices. It's a lot of energy at our practices. That's just the way we roll. Like I said, we have a lot of fun in this secondary and it was tremendous to see those guys make a lot of plays tonight."
