Peters to IR, Falcons Activate Replogle, Baker

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have placed defensive tackle Corey Peters on injured reserve and signed safety Sean Baker and defensive tackle Adam Replogle to the active roster.

Baker, 6-0, 209 pounds, was originally signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a college free agent out of Ball State following the 2012 NFL Draft. He was signed to the Falcons practice squad on October 22, 2013. Baker set a school record with 18 interceptions while adding 320 tackles (166 solo), 39 passes defensed, 19 tackles for loss, and two sacks in four seasons at Ball State.

Replogle, 6-3, 294 pounds, was signed by the Falcons as a college free agent out of Indiana on April 29, 2013. He spent the first 15 weeks of the 2013 season on the Falcons practice squad. Replogle posted 184 tackles (95 solo), 28.5 tackles for loss, 15 sacks, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery during his four seasons with the Hoosiers.

Peters, 6-3, 305 pounds, started all 15 games this season, logging 48 tackles (35 solo) with a career-high five sacks, and two passes defensed. He was selected by the Falcons in the third round (83rd overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft out of Kentucky. In four seasons in Atlanta, Peters has recorded 140 tackles (107 solo), 10 sacks, one interception, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and seven passes defensed.
