The Falcons will wear their Black Throwback jerseys from 1966 in the Georgia Dome this Sunday. * The Falcons have an all-time record against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of 13-18. * Bucs rookie quarterback Josh Freeman has started three games and has a 1-2 record as a starter. * Curtis Lofton has 101total tackles on the season ranking No.1 in the NFL. * Freeman has completed about 60 percent of his passes from the shotgun formation this season, but less than 30 percent of his throws while under center. * The Bucs have the NFL's worst rushing defense (ranked 32nd), allowing nearly 170 yards per game on the ground. * Tony Gonzalez has scored a touchdown in every home game this season. * Bucs head coach Raheem Morris removed Jim Bates as defensive coordinator and has taken over the position as of Nov. 24, 2009. * Falcons linebacker Stephen Nicholas played for the University of South Florida located in Tampa. * Matt Ryan broke a six-gamestreak with an interception against the New York Giants in Week 11. Snelling may start against the Bucs if Michael Turner is unable to go. * This season the Bucs are 0-4 on the road. * Under Head Coach Mike Smith the Falcons are 11-1 playing in the Georgia Dome. * Former Atlanta Falcon and current Tampa Bay Buccaneer Byron Leftwich was placed on injured reserve with an elbow injury on Nov. 24th. * Falcons wide receiver Michael Jenkins was born in Tampa. * Falcons wide receiver Marty Booker was a teammate of Bucs tight end John Gilmore on the Chicago Bears (2002-03). * Roddy White moved intofifthplace on the Falcons all-time receiving yardage list with a 7-yard receptionin the second quarter. He topped Michael Haynes (4,220 yards) who competed with the team from 1988-97. * This season the Falcons are 4-0 at home.
