FLOWERY BRANCH, GA — Falcons wide receiver Michael Jenkins will be out 4-6 weeks after injuring his shoulder during Friday's scrimmage at North Gwinnett High School.
"You're always concerned anytime one of your players goes down with an injury," head coach Mike Smith said Sunday night. "One thing I am certain of is Michael will work very hard with our athletic performance staff and training staff to get on the field as soon as possible."
Jenkins played in 15 games last season and started in nine. He had 50 receptions for 635 yards and a touchdown. For his career, Jenkins has 235 receptions for 3,007 yards and 18 touchdowns.
