## Biermann is a beast

Defensive end Kroy Biermann, if you didn't get a chance to see him Friday, should have gutters attached to him. He's a house. With a bit of a question mark at the defensive end position opposite John Abraham, Biermann and his freakishly large arms could really make choosing a starter a difficult decision by the end of camp.

## Ryan looking sharp

Quarterback Matt Ryan was his usual self on the opening day of training camp. He looks to be in great shape and he was really throwing some lasers during practice. His command of the playbook is always extremely apparent, and his first-day performance was no different.

## I know why they call it Hotlanta

Friday's morning practice started out great with a nice breeze despite few clouds. By mid-morning, however, the temperature was rising on the field. Temperatures soared into the high-90s Friday and the heat became unrelenting during the afternoon practice. Players were given ample rests and water breaks, and the intensity level of the afternoon session was noticeably lower.
