## Four's a crowd

The right cornerback position has been one to watch during training camp with Christopher Owens, Brent Grimes and Dominique Franks battling it out for the starting position. Head coach Mike Smith said Thursday that he expects Brian Williams to be back to full practice next week, which puts just a bit more pressure on the three players hoping to win out over him. This position is going to be even more interesting to watch when Williams gets back to 100 percent.

## Watch out for JPW

John Parker Wilson has looked good throughout training camp, making things a little more interesting in what wasn't really expected to be a battle for the backup spot behind Matt Ryan. Wilson got a chance to run the two-minute offense Thursday and performed well enough to earn some high remarks from Smith.

## Excited for Friday Night Lights

Players were pretty excited about the change of pace the Friday Night Lights team scrimmage event at North Gwinnett High School will provide. After a week of the same routine, players are going to be able to change things up a bit, have some live tackling and be in front of more fans than they have seen at open practices.
