Injury Update Following Sunday's Walkthrough

The Falcons face the Jets on Friday night in their second preseason game of the season at MetLife Stadium. Here are pictures from the game.

Dan Quinn on Sunday provided a number of injury updates following the team's walkthrough at Flowery Branch.

According to Quinn, WR Roddy White will have a minor right elbow procedure on Monday to remove loose particles. "He'll certainly be back for Week 1," said the head coach.

At running back, Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman, who've been dealing with hamstring injuries, are progressing well and could make their preseason debuts on Saturday in Miami. Fellow RB Evan Royster isn't expected to miss any games after getting hurt against the Jets.

Defensive tackle Ra'Shede Hageman is still going through concussion protocol but is "doing really well," according to Quinn. The team hopes he'll be cleared to practice at some point this week. Offensive guard Peter Konz will get his sore knee scoped and will be out for a few weeks; strong safety William Moore (calf) will begin running in the next couple of days and isn't expected to be out much longer.

Updates on Antone Smith (hamstring) and Desmond Trufant (shoulder) will be given later this week.
