Falcons vs. Panthers
The national anthem will be performed by Toni Hayes. Toni was born and raised in Waycross, Ga. She attended Valdosta State University, receiving an M.B.A. in Business Management, before going to work at Georgia Southern University where she is currently employed. Toni has been singing since she was 5, and playing the guitar and songwriting for 2 years. Toni hopes to someday employ her talents in the country music industry.
Presenting the colors is the Gainesville Police Department Color Guard. Gainesville, Georgia is located approximately 55 miles north of Atlanta, Ga. Chief Brian Kelly and the Gainesville Police Department employ 114 officers and civilians. The Color/Honor Guard was first organized in 1989. Currently, the unit is under the direction of Corporal Doug Whiddon and comprised of 12 officers. The unit has performed at local parades, conferences, veteran events, dedication ceremonies and memorials. The Color Guard members for this event are: Corporal Doug Whiddon, Officers Josh Adams, Michael Johnson, Brett Peck and Justin Martin.
In honor of Fan Appreciation Day, the Atlanta Falcons asked you what you wanted to see at halftime. The options were the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders, BMX Stuntbikes, Mascots vs. Youth Football and Frisbee Dogs. The winning choice selected by you, the fans, was Frisbee Dogs.
