HBCU Fellows Program
The Atlanta Falcons and Wells Fargo are dedicated to leveling the playing field for HBCU students interested in kicking off careers in Sports & Entertainment. Through our unique partnership with Wells Fargo, students will participate in a paid, 10-week fall semester program, working up to 20 hours per week at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta or the Atlanta Falcons Training Facility in Flowery Branch.
Fellows gain hands-on experience, mentoring from industry veterans, behind-the-scenes access, and insight into how brands collaborate across sponsorship and brand engagement.
Key Dates & Availability
Applicants should ensure availability for all key dates outlined below before applying. Dates are subject to change.Â
February 12 – February 27
Applications Open. Submit your application during the official application window.
March 2 – March 13
Phone Screenings. Selected applicants will complete phone screenings, which serve as the first‑round interview. Availability is required during this period, including Spring Break.
March 17
Final Interviews. Top candidates will be invited to participate in final, in‑person interviews at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
April
Final Selections. Selected fellows will receive offers and next‑step communications.
May 2 – 4
Preseason Program Experience. Selected fellows will participate in a unique program opportunity.

Kyla Emory - Spelman College
Kyla began her journey as a Community Engagement HBCU Fellow in 2025 while studying English and Political Science with a prelaw concentration. By leading impactful community engagement programs and embracing every opportunity, she turned her passion for law and sports business into a career launch, earning a role in the NFL's 2026 Rotational Program.
Stevie Jackson - Morehouse College
Stevie started as an inaugural 2023 Content Production HBCU Fellow and film student. From an extended fellowship to Emmy-recognized work, Stevie's discipline led him to work with NBC Universal for the 2024 Paris Olympics and Tyler Perry Studios. Graduating this May, Stevie is a proven creator with the momentum and credibility to shape the future of sports and entertainment storytelling.
