McKay Re-Instated to Competition Committee

Falcons president Rich McKay has been re-instated to the NFL's Competition Committee as its chairman, the league announced Thursday.

McKay met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Wednesday and has been re-instated, effective immediately.

"Rich has been a valued member of the NFL's Competition Committee for 22 years, and he is recognized as a key contributor throughout the league," Falcons owner and chairman Arthur Blank said. I fully support his re-instatement to the committee."
