ATLANTA – Feb. 2, 2026 – To maximize efficiency across business operations of the Atlanta Falcons and elevate key leaders, new President and CEO Greg Beadles has made several strategic moves to streamline his direct reporting structure. As part of that reorganization, four new officers have been promoted:

  • Atlanta Falcons Vice President of Marketing Shannon Joyner has been promoted to Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer.
  • AMB Sports and Entertainment Vice President, Deputy General Counsel Nick Brown has been promoted to Atlanta Falcons Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer.
  • Atlanta Falcons Vice President, Operations Spencer Treadwell has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Operations and Special Projects.
  • Atlanta Falcons Senior Director of Operations Brandon Ruth has been promoted to Vice President, Team Operations.

"Over the past several months, we have evaluated every aspect of our business operations to identify ways to maximize efficiency and alignment across our business," said Beadles. "I'm thrilled to announce the promotion of Shannon, Nick, Spencer and Brandon. Our organization has benefitted greatly by having each of them here, not only as dedicated associates, but as outstanding people and leaders who put our values in action. They have my full confidence and support as they step into their new roles."

Originally joining the Falcons as director of marketing in 2018, Joyner has held several roles within the marketing department overseeing brand marketing efforts to drive fan engagement, ticket sales and corporate partnership integration. During his tenure, Joyner has spearheaded several impactful initiatives, including the annual Dirty Birds Kickoff Rally, the "Sundays" Retail Collection, and the 404 Day community giveback program. Since 2023, he's led the club's involvement in the NFL Global Markets Program in Germany, highlighted by immersive fan programming for the club's participation in the first-ever NFL regular season game in Berlin this past season.

Brown originally joined AMB Sports and Entertainment in 2018 as vice president and deputy general counsel, providing legal support across the family of businesses. As Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, Brown will oversee all aspects of human resources and security for the Falcons, while continuing his role in the organization's legal department.

Treadwell joined the organization as an intern in 1995 and has served on the Falcons operations team since 1998. During his tenure, Treadwell led operations at IBM Performance Field in Flowery Branch, Ga., and other locations across AMBSE, played a role in all Falcons operational executions at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and led transportation and travel coordination for the club, among several other responsibilities. As Senior Vice President, Operations and Special Projects, Treadwell will continue overseeing the ongoing renovations and construction at IBM Performance Field and will lend his expertise across AMBSE to and including the development of a world-class training ground for NWSL Atlanta 2028 to ensure the new training ground matches the quality and operability of the other practice facilities in the AMBSE portfolio.

Ruth originally joined the organization in a full-time capacity in 2013 as a member of the live events team and has served in an operations role for the past 10 years. Ruth oversees day-to-day operations of IBM Performance Field in Flowery Branch, Ga., including maintenance, shipping and receiving, and the grounds team at the practice facility. He also leads all aspects of team travel logistics, ensuring players, coaches and staff have the accommodations necessary to perform on gameday. In 2022, he was recognized as the NFL Travel Director of the Year for his leadership of team travel logistics and serves as co-chair of the NFL Travel Directors Meetings that take place annually.
