Biography

CAREER

  • Joins the Falcons after spending  two seasons (2024-25) with the Raiders and four seasons (2020-23) with the Giants. He has appeared in 83 games with 12 starts and compiled 156 tackles (108 solo), 21 passes defensed, five tackles for loss, five quarterback hits, four interceptions, two forced fumbles, 1.5 sacks and one fumble recovery.
  • Saw action in 13 contests in 2025 and totaled 19 tackles (13 solo) in 2025.
  • Played in 16 games with one start and recorded 30 tackles (14 solo), three passes defensed, two tackles for loss and one sack his first season in Las Vegas (2024).
  • Saw action in 16 games with one start and recorded 11 tackles (10 solo), three passes defensed, one forced fumble, one tackle for loss and a career-high two interceptions in 2023.
  • Appeared in 15 games (two starts) in 2022 and registered a career-high 38 tackles (28 solo) to go along with eight passes defensed, two tackles for loss, one quarterback hit and one forced fumble.

  • Played in 35 games with 33 starts over three seasons at UCLA (2017-19), totaling 121 tackles (89 solo), eight interceptions, 28 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He averaged 23.1 yards on 38 kickoff returns, including a 93-yard touchdown in 2018.
  • As a senior, started all 10 games played and was selected honorable mention All-Pac-12. He finished with 34 tackles (24 solo), eight passes defensed and a team-leading two interceptions (2019).
  • Started all 12 games and was named honorable mention All-Pac-12 after leading the team with three interceptions, including one returned 31 yards for a touchdown, and two forced fumbles, in addition to recording 48 tackles (36 solo) and a career-high 12 passes defensed in 2018.
  • As a freshman, played in 13 games with 11 starts and led the team with three interception to go along with 39 tackles (29 solo) and three passes defensed (2017).

PERSONAL

  • Started his prep career at Oaks Christian before transferring to Newbury Park HS for his sophomore season, where he recorded 87 receptions for 1,349 yards and 15 touchdowns
  • Transferred to Calabasas (Calif.) HS for his junior and senior seasons, leading the program to back-to-back CIF-Southern Section titles (2015-16) for the first time in school history.
  • Father, Darick Holmes, was an NFL running back from 1995-99 and rushed for 1,769 yards and 11 touchdowns for Buffalo, Green Bay and Indianapolis.
