The Atlanta Falcons are proud to celebrate and honor our Fallen Heroes of the armed forces with TAPS. The organization continues to strive to give back as much as possible to those families who have fought for our freedom.

This week, as part of the Atlanta Falcons Salute to Service efforts, we will be honoring 280 TAPS families that we have honored throughout the past four years (2016-2019).

To us, their Fallen Hero is "Never Forgotten".

The Atlanta Falcons have partnered with TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) every season since 2016 to honor families and their fallen heroes. This year we honor all 280 families and reflect on some special moments shared in the past.

In honor of the 2020 Atlanta Falcons Salute to Service game, TAPS families who were recognized from 2016-2019 provided their favorite photos to commemorate their Fallen Hero and experience with the Atlanta Falcons.

'We Play For' | Falcons to honor 94 Fallen Heroes

For the fourth consecutive year, the Atlanta Falcons will honor Fallen Heroes. Each player's position group will bear the initials of military members that made the ultimate sacrifice. In 1994, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors was founded. In honor of their 25th anniversary we will play for 94 Fallen Heroes on Sunday.

Falcons players to wear initials of fallen heroes on helmets

Each player on the Atlanta Falcons roster will wear a white decal with a series of initials representing the names of 94 fallen heroes during the Salute to Service game against the Buccaneers on Sunday. Each position group will wear the same decal.

Falcons spend time with families of fallen heroes

The Atlanta Falcons, led by head coach Dan Quinn, set aside time following their walk-through on Saturday to meet with 94 families who are a part of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) and have lost a loved one serving our country. The team will wear decals honoring the fallen heroes on their helmets Sunday.
