Throwback Thursday: Falcons with Teams in the Big Dance
Twenty-four players on the Falcons roster will get to watch their alma mater hit the court during March Madness this year. Take a look back at these players' college years.
Matt Bryant: Baylor University March Madness Fact: Baylor has played in the sweet sixteen in three of the last five NCAA tournaments (2010, 2012, 2014).
Sean Renfree: Duke University March Madness Fact: Duke won the NCAA men's basketball championship while Renfree was a student in 2010
Zeke Motta: Notre Dame March Madness Fact: Notre Dame's last trip to the sweet sixteen was in 2003
Tyson Jackson: LSU March Madness Fact: LSU made it to the final four in 2004 (and a few months later, Tyson Jackson redshirted as a true freshman on the football team)
Paul Soliai: University of Utah March Madness Fact: The Utes played in the championship game in 1998, but lost to Kentucky.
T.J. Yates: University of North Carolina March Madness Fact: The Tar Heels last won the NCAA men's basketball championship in 2009, just before T.J. Yates' junior season with the UNC football team.
Jacob Tamme: University of Kentucky March Madness Fact: Kentucky enters the 2015 tournament unbeaten as a No. 1 seed. They lost to UConn in the 2014 championship game.
Adrian Clayborn: University of Iowa March Madnes Fact: The upcoming 2015 tournament marks the fifth trip for the Hawkeyes in the last 15 years.
Brandan Bishop: North Carolina State University March Madness Fact: N.C. State has gone all the way to win the tournament two times in program history (1974, 1983)
Brooks Reed: University of Arizona March Madness: It was a battle of the Wildcats in 1997 when Arizona beat Kentucky for the title.
Charles Godfrey: University of Iowa March Madness Fact: Iowa had back-to-back tournament appearances in 2005 and 2006 - when Godfrey played his sophomore and a junior seasons for the Hawkeyes football team.
Dezmen Southward: University of Wisconsin March Madness Fact: The Badgers haven't won it all since 1941, but they made it to the Final Four in 2014 (right after Southward's senior season with the Wisconsin football team.)
Jonathan Babineaux: University of Iowa March Madness Fact: The Hawkeyes made it to the tournament one time during Babnineaux's stint at Iowa after earning a No. 7 seed in 2001.
Justin Durant: Hampton University March Madness Fact: The Pirates have one of the toughest first round matchups in the 2015 tournament as they will face the unbeaten Kentucky Wildcats in Kentucky.
O'Brien Schofield: University of Wisconsin March Madness Fact: Coach Bo Ryan has taken the Badgers to the NCAA men's basketball tournament every year since he took the reins in 2001, which includes the four years Schofield spent at the University.
Adam Replogle: Indiana University March Madness Fact: The Hoosiers trips to the Sweet 16 in 2012 and 2013 came during Replogle's junior and senior years at Indiana. They last won the tournament in 2002.
Peter Konz: University of Wisconsin March Madness Fact: The Badgers made it to the Sweet 16 twice during Peter Konz's time at Wisconsin. In 2008, Konz's redshirt season with the football team, and in 2011, his senior year.
Prince Shembo: Notre Dame March Madness Fact: Notre Dame made NCAA men's basketball tournament appearances each year that Shembo was a student (2010-2013)
Reid Fragel: Ohio State University March Madness Fact: The Buckeyes played in the Final Four in March 2012, following Fragel's junior season with the Ohio State football team.
Ricardo Allen: Purdue March Madness Fact: The Purdue men's basketball team earned a spot in the tournament five years in a row (2007-2012), which includes the three years Allen was playing in every game on the football team.
Ricky Havili-Heimuli: Oregon March Madness Fact: Prior to Havili-Heimuli's senior season with the Duck's football team, the mens' basketball team advanced to the Sweet 16 of the tournament in 2013.
Roddy White: University of Alabama-Birmingham March Madness Fact: The Blazers men's basketball team started a three-year run in the tournament after making it to the Sweet 16 in 2004, following Roddy White's last season with the football team.
Ronnie Wingo: Arkansas March Madness Fact: Arkansas won back-to-back national championships in 1995 and 1996.
Tony Moeaki: University of Iowa March Madness Fact: The Hawkeyes have appeared in the NCAA men's basketball tournament 24 times in program history.
