Atlanta Falcons Community Awards of the Week - October 19th 2010

To celebrate Nurse Appreciation Week, Freddie Falcon along with Coca-Cola and Publix surprised some amazing nurses around the city of Atlanta! The honorees received Atlanta Falcons goodies and snacks during these special deliveries from Freddie and his friends.

Atlanta Falcons players and legends participated in Fashion Play, a fashion show benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta. The fun filled evening highlights the importance of mentoring, fostering relationships and creating habits of success.

Atlanta Falcons team photographer Jimmy Cribb worked his first game in 1979, and went on to cover more than 750 games over his career. Though he passed away in April of 2022, his legacy lives on in his photos, his impact on players and staff, and now, the newly-minted Jimmy Cribb Media Room at the Falcons headquarters. Take a look as we pay homage to the man who preserved the Falcons' visual history for an impressive 39 years.

The Atlanta Falcons have named Chris Lindstrom as their nominee for the NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year Award. Take a look at some of the work Chris has recently done around the community.

Atlanta Falcons players joined active duty military from Dobbins Air Reserve Base for a day of fellowship and fun for Operation: Game Time presented by Zaxby's.

For the 15th consecutive year, the entire Atlanta Falcons roster of players participated in a day of community service presented by Cigna. This year, the team helped beautify Anderson Park, a local park on the Westside of Atlanta.

In honor of Season Kickoff Week and our game against the New Orleans Saints, Freddie Falcon partnered with Publix to deliver limited edition Beat the Saints Cakes to Season Ticket Members, Media, and AMBS+E Executives

The Atlanta Falcons unveiled a new 30-foot dynamic wall display inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium dedicated to the trailblazers of high school girls flag football in the state of Georgia.

Several members of the Falcons and Truist organizations revitalized outdoor spaces at Ben Hill Recreation Center in honor of 404 Day. The efforts were led by cornerback A.J. Terrell, who played youth football at the center growing up.

The 51-year Falcons Season Ticket Member is surprised with the news that he has received the overall league award at NFL Honors.
