Takk McKinley after loss: 'It's on us'

ATLANTA – Takk McKinley spoke candidly following the Falcons' 37-10 loss to the Los Angeles Rams (4-3).

"The coaches have nothing to do with how we've been playing," McKinley said. "They put us in great situations to go out there and perform, it's just up to the players to do it."

The Falcons are currently 31st in scoring defense, allowing 31.9 points per game and they haven't recorded a sack in the past four games.

McKinley said it starts with the players and accountability.

"At the end of the day it's on us," McKinley said. "We have enough talent in this room to win games. We just need to reflect in the mirror and do better, do more."

The Falcons will get their next chance to make the corrections and get back on track next Sunday when the the Seattle Seahawks (5-1) come to town before heading into their bye week.
