ATLANTA – Three Falcons suffered injuries in the first half of Thursday's exhibition game: Damontae Kazee, Russell Gage and Kendall Sheffield.

Kazee went down with a rib injury and attempted to run off the field under his own power holding his stomach but fell to the ground as the trainers met him on the field.

Gage was carted off the field and sent to the locker room with a rib injury. The second-year wide receiver never returned as well as Sheffield who suffered a hamstring injury.

Falcons head coach Dan Quinn provided an update following the game and said the injuries don't sound like anything that will set the players back a long time. Quinn said the medical staff was able to "rule out" any broken bones.
