FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. â The Atlanta Falcons have made final decisions on six individuals who were listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's season finale against the New Orleans Saints, including a group of individuals going through an illness.
After head coach Raheem Morris expressed optimism Friday afternoon that wide receivers Drake London and Darnell Mooney as well as tight end Kyle Pitts would play Sunday after being listed as questionable with knee injuries, the trio all received the green light and will be active for Atlanta.
The same could be said for a group of individuals who were experiencing illnesses this week. The Falcons added cornerback A.J. Terrell, defensive line Ruke Orhorhoro and long-snapper Liam McCullough to the game report Saturday because of their illnesses. All three were cleared to play Sunday.
In other illness developments, the Falcons announced inside lienbacker Ronnie Harrison was downgraded to out with the sickness. Quarterback Kirk Cousins and defensive lineman David Onyemata woke up Sunday morning experiencing symptoms but were not given a game designation and will play against the Saints at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
As for the team's inactives, that list officially includes defensive lineman Brandon Dorlus, who was ruled out earlier in the week with a hamstring injury. Morris said the Falcons dodged "a big-time bullet" with the injury as it was originally feared to be a knee injury. An emotional Dorlus was carted off the field Monday night against the Rams, but further testing and imaging revealed Dorlus' injury would only linger for a few weeks.
