Biography

CAREER

  • Has appeared in 39 regular-season games (23 starts), totaling 135 receptions for 1,201 receiving yards (8.9 avg.) and three receiving touchdowns over three seasons for the Cardinals. Also has rushed for 249 yards on 52 carries (4.8 avg.) and one rushing touchdown.
  • Also has seen action in one postseason game, tallying five receptions for 32 yards (6.4 avg.).
  • In 2023, played in all 17 games (eight starts), recording 40 receptions for 352 yards and a TD along with 178 rushing yards and a TD on 28 carries.
  • Became the first wide receiver in Cardinals history with over 100 rushing yards in a season.
  • Joined Anquan Boldin (16 games), Christian Kirk (22 games) and Larry Fitzgerald (23 games) as just one of four Cardinals since at least 1970 to reach 100 career receptions in 25 career games or fewer.
  • Started all eight games played in 2022 and recorded 41 receptions for 414 yards and one TD before suffering a season-ending injury.

COLLEGE

  • Played three seasons (2018-20) at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind.
  • Appeared in 20 games and recorded 178 receptions for 1,915 yards and 14 touchdowns in addition to rushing for 248 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries. Also returned 42 kicks for 813 yards and 17 punts for 118 yards.
  • Broke school records for all-purpose yards in a season (2,215) and the most 100-yard receiving games (7) in a season.
  • Named first-team All-American, first-team Freshman All-American (AP), Big Ten Wide Receiver of the Year and Freshman of the Year, in addition to first-team All-Big-Ten (wide receiver and special teams).
  • Recipient of the Paul Hornung Award given the nation's most versatile player. Also became the first true freshman to earn consensus All-American honors in Big Ten history.
  • After initially opting out due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, he returned and started all three games he appeared in, totaling 35 receptions for 270 yards. Also added 32 rushing yards and a touchdown on six carries.
  • Started all four games in an injury-shortened sophomore campaign in 2019, totaling 29 receptions for 387 yards and two touchdowns. Also added 151 yards on nine kickoff returns and 36 yards on five punt returns.
  • As a true freshman in 2018, he started 10 of 13 games played and totaled 114 receptions for 1,258 yards and 12 touchdowns while adding 213 yards and two touchdowns on 21 rushing attempts. Also returned 13 kicks for 662 yards and 12 punts for 82 yards.
  • Became just the third player in Big Ten history with 100-plus receptions in a season in 2018.

PERSONAL

  • Attended Trinity High School in Louisville, Ky.
  • Named the 2017 Gatorade Kentucky Player of the Year and was the Paul Hornung Award recipient (top high school player in Kentucky) as a senior.
  • Selected to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
  • Named first-team All-State.
  • Helped lead Trinity to a 15-0 record and Kentucky Class 6A state championship as a senior.
  • Posted a school record of 104 receptions for 1,461 yards and 16 touchdowns, in addition to 537 rushing yards and seven touchdowns as a senior in 2017. Also returned two punts for touchdowns.
  • As a junior in 2016, appeared in just four games, totaling 20 receptions for 464 yards and nine touchdowns as part of the Shamrocks 2016 Kentucky Class 6A state championship team.
  • Transferred to Trinity from New Albany (Ind.) High School where he won a 2016 4A Indiana State basketball championship.
  • Earned his bachelor's degree in selling and sales management.
