Biography

CAREER

  • Spent time with the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals in 2018 but has not appeared in any NFL games.
  • In 2023, spent time with the Michigan Panthers of the USFL and led the USFL in total tackles with 104. Also notched five passes defensed, three interceptions and 1.0 sack en route to being named the 2023 USFL Defensive Player of the Year.

COLLEGE

  • Played three seasons (2015-17) at San Jose (Calif.) State.
  • Appeared in 38 games (35 starts) and finished his career with the eighth-most total tackles (352) in Spartans history. Also notched 29 tackles for loss, which is tied for the ninth-most in program history, and added 9.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one interception.
  • Named CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 honoree in 2017, becoming the first Spartan linebacker to earn this recognition.
  • As a junior in 2017, he started all 13 games and set a Mountain West single-season record with 173 total tackles, while also tallying 13 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks. He also led the team and tied for sixth in the Mountain West with three forced fumbles.
  • Played in 12 games (10 starts) as a sophomore in 2016 and registered 99 total tackles (50 solo), 11 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one interception.
  • As a freshman in 2015, started 12 of 13 games and recorded 80 total tackles (42 solo), four tackles for loss, 1.0 sack and one forced fumble.
