Kruchten comes to Atlanta after recently being hired as assistant coach of nickels and special teams at Georgia State for the 2026 season. Prior to this elevation, Kruchten served as outside linebackers coach at Georgia State for the 2025 season.

Before joining the Georgia State coaching staff, Kruchten was a graduate assistant at the University of Florida. In that role, he assisted with the edge and linebacker positions while also serving as an assistant to the defensive coordinator, contributing to film study, scouting and game preparation. 

A native of The Woodlands, Texas, Kruchten began his coaching career following his playing days at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he was a linebacker from 2019-21. He appeared in 25 games and recorded 11 tackles while helping the Ragin' Cajuns secure a Sun Belt title in 2020 and capture the 2021 Sun Belt Conference Championship. He spent two seasons at Southeastern Louisiana before transferring to Louisiana.
