Falcons sign WR Dylan Drummond to active roster

Drummond has appeared in three games for the Falcons this season, and most recently caught three passes for 18 yards in the team's win against the New Orleans Saints.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons have signed wide receiver Dylan Drummond off their practice squad to the 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's game against the New York Jets.

Drummond has appeared in three games for the Falcons this season, and most recently caught three passes for 18 yards in the team's win against the New Orleans Saints in Week 12. Those were the first three catches of his NFL career. Most notably, he displayed great situational awareness after catching a pass just before halftime in that game, allowing Atlanta to stop the clock and make a 54-yard field goal as time expired.

Drummond spent the 2024 season on the Falcons' practice squad and was a standout reserve player for the team in training camp and the preseason.

Starting wide receiver Drake London has been ruled out for Sunday's game due to a knee injury, and Drummond will provide extra depth for the position group.

There is no corresponding move accompanying Drummond's signing as edge rusher Khalid Kareem was released Thursday.
