Biography
Samyria is entering her first season with the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders. She is a Psychology and Dance major with a Biology minor at the University of Alabama, on the pre-health track to become a Physician Assistant. She began dancing at age three and is a current member of Dance Alabama as well as the AV Dance Collective. On campus, she serves as the Fundraising Chair for the Black Student Union's First Year Liaison Program, is a member of the Minority Association for Pre-Health Students, and works as a Student Orientation Mentor and Avanti Leader. Samyria assists at a nursing home and currently conducts undergraduate research on child play and development in children with behavioral disorders. She is one of the recipients of the Sandral Hullett Award for highest academic honors and is passionate about mentorship, service, and making a positive impact.
