COLLEGE

Started the final 41 games of his career at right cornerback and is SDSU’s all-time leader with 17 interceptions.

He finished his career ranked sixth with 30 PBUs, tied for sixth with six forced fumbles and seventh in interception yards (214).

The first player in program history to record six-or-more interceptions in consecutive seasons and a two-time Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year (2015 & 2016).

Earned his second straight Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year award after having 65 tackles (45 solo), three tackles for loss, seven interceptions for 156 yards and one touchdown during his senior season. Also added eight pass breakups and a quarterback hurry.

Was named the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year by the league’s coaches and media as a junior, the first SDSU player to be named the MW Defensive Player of the Year since Kirk Morrison won it in back-to-back seasons in 2003-04.

Recorded 75 tackles (team-high 58 solo), a team-best eight interceptions, 5.5 tackles for loss, seven pass breakups and two forced fumbles in 14 starts in 2015.

A second-team all-Mountain West selection as a sophomore. Started all 13 games for SDSU, making 58 tackles (40 solo), with a team-high 13 pass breakups, an interception, a fumble recovery, 4.0 TFL and two quarterback hurries.

Had 41 tackles (28 solo), four forced fumbles, 3.0 TFL, two pass breakups, an interception, a sack and a blocked kick as a redshirt freshman in 2013.

PERSONAL

Three-time all-CIF athlete who played both sides of the ball at Cajon High in San Bernardino, California. Helped the Cowboys to a 9-2 overall record as a senior in 2011, including a 6-1 mark in league play. Recorded 27 tackles, two interceptions and a forced fumble on defense during his senior year.

Lettered in football, basketball and track at Cajon.

Son of Latrease and Walter Kazee. Has three brothers and two sisters. Brother, Walter, was a four-year running back for the Aztecs from 2009-12.

Majoring in criminal justice.
