Matt Ryan entered Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers needing just 254 yards to surpass Warren Moon on the NFL's all-time passing list, and he reached that mark in the third quarter on a 6-yard touchdown pass to Calvin Ridley, moving into the 10th spot for passing yards in league history.
In his 12th season, Ryan entered the Week 11 contest with 49,072 career passing yards. Moon, and NFL Hall of Famer, threw for 49,325 yards throughout his illustrious career. Heading into the Panthers game, Ryan had completed nearly 70 percent of his passes for 2,352 yards with 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
Ryan, who won the NFL MVP Award for his historic 2016 season, has been one of the league's top quarterbacks since entering the league in 2018. Next up on the list of all-time passing yards is John Elway, who is No. 9 on the list with 51,475 career passing yards.
