FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons announced their team captains for the 2025 season Monday.
Quarterback Michael Penix Jr., offensive lineman Chris Lindstrom, offensive lineman Jake Matthews, safety Jessie Bates III, inside linebacker Kaden Elliss and punter Bradley Pinion were voted on by the team to be the Falcons' captains throughout the 2025 season. It is a first-time honor for Penix, Elliss and Pinion.
This year, the captains will don a patch on their jerseys with stars indicated the years they have been a captain for Atlanta.

The Falcons will face the Buccaneers on Sunday, Sept. 7 for the Week 1 home opener of the 2025 season.
