FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The 2026 NFL Draft will take place on April 23-25, allowing teams to add top prospects to their rosters. It's a marquee event that gets a lot of attention for a reason, and the Falcons have built a solid core of players through the draft in recent years.
Atlanta currently has five picks in the 2026 NFL Draft; it does not have a pick in the first round or the fifth round. During the NFL Combine, general manager Ian Cunningham discussed his affinity for draft picks and stated his aim to have more "swings at the plate" in the future. It's possible the Falcons look to accrue more picks in this year's event as well.
The Falcons made only five selections during the 2025 NFL Draft, tying the 2006 draft for the fewest picks in franchise history. This year will also have a spot on that list if they do not add to their allotment.
