College


Played in 63 games for Eastern Carolina and set school records with 387 receptions, 4,541 yards and 35 touchdowns during his career.

He caught more passes than any player in FBS history, and he is the only player in ECU’s school history to post three consecutive 1,000 yard seasons.

In 2014, he won the Burlsworth Trophy, given to the nation’s most outstanding player who began his career as a walk on. He also set the school’s single season records in receptions (121) and receiving yards (1,494), which he set the previous year.

Served as a team captain during his senior year.

In 2013, he started all 13 games and recorded 114 recpetions and 1,284 receiving yards - both previous school records. He also caught eight touchdown passes.

He was named first team All-Conference USA and ranked fourth nationally in receptions per game with 8.8.

In 2012, he was named a first team All-Conference USA selection. He became the fourth receiver in school history to reach 1,000 receiving yards (1,105) in a single season, while also recording 88 catches and 11 touchdowns.

During his freshman year, he was a freshman all-conference choise and ECU’s offensive MVP. He played in 10 games, with eight starts and set ECU freshman records with 64 receptions and 658 yards, along with six touchdowns.

Personal

He attended West Craven High School in North Carolina and earned all-are, all-conference and offensive player of the year honors.

He recorded 2,500 passing yards and 35 touchdowns, as well as 1,500 rushing yards and 10 scores during high school.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in sports studies in May 2014, and is pursuing a second undergraduate degree in industrial technology.
