Who's Playing, Who's Not: Allen Out, Reed In

The Falcons will be without the services of a few of their usual starters on Sunday.

Safety Ricardo Allen (knee), WR Devin Hester (toe), RB Tevin Coleman(ribs) and TE Jacob Tamme (concussion) have been ruled out for the upcoming contest.

Although Allen and Hester were limited in Friday's practice, head coach Dan Quinn announced they would be unable to go against Houston.

Robenson Therezie will start in place of Allen at free safety. Therezie arrived in Atlanta as an undrafted cornerback out of Auburn, but was quickly moved to safety, where he has impressed ever since.

"As you guys know, he's somebody that we've been really excited about," Quinn said. The opportunity for him to come in and play middle field safety; we're really excited for him. He's had a terrific offseason in terms of coming back, the camp that he had, and getting the details down. He worked really hard with Secondary/Senior Def. Assistant Marquand Manuel to get it right, and we're really excited for him.

LB Brooks Reed fully participated on Friday and his status is listed as probable. Reed has participated in practice in a limited capacity since last week, but was inactive against the Cowboys.

After being limited in Thursday's practice, WR Julio Jones (toe/hamstring) and RB Devonta Freeman (toe) returned to full participation and listed as probable.
