Julio Jones Will Be 'Ready to Rock' on Sunday

After "aggravating" his foot in Saturday's game versus the Seattle Seahawks, Julio Jones will be "ready to rock" at the Georgia Dome come Sunday, head coach Dan Quinn said on Monday.

The Falcons plan to limit Jones in practice this week.

"We'll limit him throughout the week, and then as the week progresses, we'll give him a little more at the end," Quinn said of the plan for Jones. "That will be the plan moving forward for us. He's excited to play, but we'll make sure he gets the looks that are really specific to him. For him and his foot, he'll be ready to rock."

Quinn believes Jones having dealt with injuries this season helps in situations like this in terms of the process of learning how to get the wide receiver prepared for Sunday.

"When you have had the opportunity to play through some injuries, just like anything else, you have experience doing that. The biggest challenge we have is making sure the practice reps are the right ones for him and Matt so they get that clear connection on the routes that they need. We spend a lot of time on that to make sure as they go through the week, they both feel comfortable [with] the work they had.

Atlanta will be down a pass-rusher when they face Aaron Rodgers and Co. as Adrian Clayborn will miss the rest of the postseason with a bicep injury.

Outside of Clayborn's injury, the Falcons remain relatively healthy ahead of the NFC Championship game.
