Jones, Collins Ruled Out for Falcons vs. 49ers

The Atlanta Falcons are looking to build on their win over the Rams this week as they prepare to head back to the Georgia Dome to face San Francisco. Check out these photos of the team at work.

The Falcons will be without the services of Julio Jones again on Sunday.

Jones suffered a sprained toe in Atlanta's Week 13 loss and has been sidelined since. It appears Jones was unable to "explode pain free" as head coach Dan Quinn said that would be the determining factor if Jones would be able to go.

Atlanta will get their other top receiver back in the lineup after missing both Mohamed Sanu and Jones last week. Sanu "looked really good" in Friday's practice, according to Quinn.

Cornerback Jalen Collins has also been ruled out with a knee sprain so Atlanta will look to C.J. Goodwin and Deji Olatoye to fill in.

Quinn has full confidence in both Goodwin and Olatoye after seeing their week of preparation.

"C.J. has looked good," Quinn said on Thursday. "We've had [Deji Olatoye] in there and we've also had Blidi Wreh-Wilson work in. C.J. has really looked on point, if his opportunity is there, he's totally ready for it."

DE Adrian Clayborn (knee), S Kemal Ishmael (shoulder), S Robenson Therezie (ankle) and WR Nick Williams (concussion) have also been ruled out.
