Mohamed Sanu, Matt Bryant and Courtney Upshaw missed practice for the second straight day

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – As the Falcons continue their preparations for the Miami Dolphins (2-2), they’ll do so without the services of three players: Mohamed Sanu (hamstring), Matt Bryant (kicker) and Courtney Upshaw (ankle/knee).

Julio Jones (hip) and Vic Beasley (hamstring) will again be limited.

Head coach Dan Quinn said Sanu and Upshaw are “getting closer” in terms of their return but will be held out of practice.

Quinn also said that the team is hopeful Bryant will be “just fine” despite signing Mike Meyer to the practice squad on Friday. Bryant typically kicks on Wednesdays and Fridays for the Falcons at practice.
