Falcons Sign WR Mitchell, Waive WR Wynn

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have signed wide receiver Carlton Mitchell and waived wide receiver Shane Wynn.

Mitchell, 6-3, 215 pounds, was originally selected by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round (177th overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft out of South Florida. Mitchell played in 16 games for the Browns tallying three receptions for 31 yards.

Wynn, 5-7, 167 pounds, was signed as a college free agent out of Indiana. He finished his career tied for second in receptions (189), third in kick return yardage (1,854), tied for third in receiving touchdowns (20), fourth in all-purpose yardage (4,429).
