Falcons Promote WR Nick Williams to Active Roster

The Atlanta Falcons have promoted wide receiver Nick Williams to the active roster and have released cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson.

Williams was originally signed as a college free agent by the Washington Redskins following the 2013 NFL Draft out of Connecticut. He has played in 19 career games, catching 20 passes for 174 yards with two touchdowns. Williams has spent the entire season on the Falcons practice squad. He spent all of last season with Atlanta as well.

Wreh-Wilson has played in 34 games with 14 starts and has recorded 73 total tackles, one interception, and one forced fumble.
