Atlanta Falcons Owner & Chairman Arthur Blank, President & CEO Rich McKay, general manager Thomas Dimitroff and head coach Mike Smith are rolling up their sleeves, and picking up their respective paint brushes, shovels, rakes and weed trimmers for a worthwhile cause.

Its spring time in Atlanta, which means that more than 180 associates from the Blank Family of Businesses will join together again in a team effort to make a difference in their community during the 5th annual "All Associates Day," which is set for Friday, May 3, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Hard-working volunteers from the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Falcons Physical Therapy Centers, PGA TOUR Superstores, AMB Group, and The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation will be landscaping and painting at KIPP WAYS Academy in the Washington Park community of Atlanta. Other Blank associates will be taking part in the Atlanta Habitat for Humanity's "Brush With Kindness" program, where they will make minor repairs and assist in the exterior painting of five homes in the English Avenue neighborhood.

"All Associates Day provides our entire family of businesses with an opportunity to make an impact in our local community as a group. We form bonds with one another and help a great cause at the same time," said Penelope McPhee, president of The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation. "Our associates circle this date on the calendar every year and really look forward to giving back to their community in a big way on this day."

Now in its 30th year of existence, Atlanta Habitat for Humanity partners with working families, sponsors, and communities to build affordable, green, quality homes and to provide support services that promote successful home purchases and ownership.

KIPP WAYS Academy is part of KIPP Metro Atlanta, a network of high-performing public charter schools in Atlanta dedicated to preparing students in under-served communities for success in college and in life. Currently, KIPP WAYS Academy serves grades five through eight in a facility on Lowery Boulevard. To accommodate an expansion to elementary grades, they will relocate to the site of the former Herndon Elementary School in the Washington Park community. All Associates Day volunteers will be preparing the facility and grounds for KIPP WAYS Academy's new home at Herndon Elementary.
