The Atlanta Falcons today made 22 roster moves to reach the NFL’s mandatory 53-player limit.
The selection of Curtis Lofton in the second round of the NFL Draft gave the Falcons some flexibility, including a chance to work Keith Brooking at outside linebacker.
The Falcons made moves to beef up the roster for next season over the past week.
In a second round of roster moves Wednesday the Falcons promoted defensive end Derrick Jones from the practice squad.
