CAREER

  • Ninth-year defensive lineman enters his ninth season with the Chiefs in 2019.
  • Logged first forced fumble of the season, sixth of his career in week 13 at Oakland (12/1/18). 
  • Has a career-high 6.5 sacks this season and 20.0 sacks (-113.0) yards for his career. 
  • Has appeared in four postseason games, seeing action on defense and special teams, recording five tackles (three solo), 2.0 sacks (both in the 2015 game against Houston), two forced fumbles and one pass defended.
  • Joined Kansas City as the second of two third-round picks in the 2011 NFL Draft.

  • Played linebacker and fullback at McIntosh County Academy in Darien, Ga.
  • Grew up in the historic Hog Hammock community on Sapelo Island, Ga., a state-protected village off of the Georgia coast that can only be reached by airplane or boat, with a ferry covering the seven-mile, 20-minute trip. The island covers 434 acres and has a population of 70 citizens. Bailey rode the ferry daily to the mainland on his way to school.
  • Was honored with "Allen Bailey Day" in Hog Hammock on April 7, 2012 on Sapelo Island.
