Jesse Ackerman is entering his fifth season with the Atlanta Falcons as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. He joined the team after working as the Strength Coach for the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. He graduated in 2002 with a B.A. in Education from John Carroll University. He continued working at John Carroll University as an Assistant Coach and Graduate Assistant four years after earning his bachelor's from the school. Ackerman also earned an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll in 2007 and an M.S. in Exercise Science from California University of Pennsylvania in 2009. He then went on to work at Iowa State University as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in 2007. In 2008, he worked for the University of Texas in the same capacity. He then became the Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning for the University of Florida in 2012. Ackerman's certifications include NSCA-CSCS, NASM-PES, and NASM-CES.
