The Falcons are engaged in "really good conversations" with receiver Julio Jones, as general manager Thomas Dimitroff told reporters Wednesday at Georgia's pro day. That certainly appears to be the case.

According to Bleacher Report's Mike Freeman, the Falcons and Jones are moving closer towards a deal that could worth $20 million a year over a four- or five-year contract extension. If Freeman's sources are accurate, Jones could be looking at a $100 million deal, the second-biggest contract ever signed by a wide receiver behind only Larry Fitzgerald.

Jones, 30, led all NFL receivers with 1,677 yards in 2018. A six-time Pro Bowler and a two-time All-Pro, Jones has been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL for the majority of his career.

Update: Following Freeman's initial report, ESPN's Chris Mortensen told 680 The Fan's "Buck and Kincade" that the two sides are not close on a deal and have yet to even exchange proposals.
